I have been an Executive Leadership Coach for more than 15 years and have worked with all levels of leadership. I have seen people grow and change, moving their businesses and organizations to new heights. I have been part of the journey of many successful leaders who have changed people’s lives and impacted how they experience the world.
I find great joy in the work I do. I get to guide people toward becoming the best version of themselves. I support people as they realize their true potential. The human condition is such that we forget that we are supposed to achieve great things. It’s unfortunate, but we too often allow self-doubt and nay-sayers to keep us from taking the risks necessary to achieve the awards. We are not designed to live life small.
I recently attended a Gala hosted by Ernst & Young where they honored and celebrated 12 Entrepreneurs for 2023. These highly successful leaders came from many industries and all walks of life. But the one thing they all had in common was their acknowledgment that they did not do it alone. They knew it took a village to get to where they were standing.
As each winning Entrepreneur stood at the podium to accept their award, they not only thanked the people who discovered their talent and success, but they each recognized and included their teams, wives, husbands, kids, family, and friends. It takes a Village to achieve great success and to change so many lives and these Entrepreneurs were humble enough to celebrate with all those who supported them along the way.
Even though there was one man or woman being recognized for their achievement behind them was a Village of people who have also been part of the blood, sweat, and tears it took to climb to the top.
I would like to acknowledge and celebrate two of my clients who appreciate the village that supports them. I have been on a long journey with both Brian Kempisty, Founder and Owner of Port X Logistics and recent winner of the Erst & Young Entrepreneur Award, and Tina Zerbian, CEO of Connecting Communities in Action and recent recipient of the Woman of Distinction for the 57thSenate District.
These are two leaders who understand it takes a village. They are humble and acknowledge those who have supported them on their journey. I am so proud and grateful to have both of these dynamic leaders as part of my journey. They are part of my village and helped in my success. They are true examples of bold leadership.
With gratitude and appreciation, Brian and Tina.
