We Are Not Designed To Live Small
I have been an Executive Leadership Coach for more than 15 years and have worked with all levels of leadership. I have seen people grow and change, moving their businesses and organizations to incredible new heights. I have been part of the personal growth journey of many successful leaders who have changed their own lives and the lives of others.
I find great joy in the work that I do. Every day, I get to guide people toward becoming the best versions of themselves. Every day, I support people as they realize their true potential. The human condition is such that we forget that we are supposed to achieve great things. It’s unfortunate, but we allow self-doubt and nay-sayers to keep us from taking the risks necessary to achieve the awards and results we dream about.

We are not designed to live life small. We need to remember that living with a bold sense of confidence is what inspires change and gets results.
It all starts with being fearless. It means living with passion and advocating for what you believe in: being a participant, not an observer. It means cultivating a strong awareness of your core values and beliefs. Stop trying to be someone you are not and do the work to find your truth. Be authentic. Take that risk and do the things that make your heart sing!
Living boldly takes courage and grit, but also reflection and introspection. You need to get really comfortable with being uncomfortable. Do you want to live a full rich life, or do you want to simply survive, living day to day in a sea of sameness?
Face your fears! What is the worst that could happen? Flip the script. Rather than thinking about all the things that could go wrong, believe in all the things that will go right. You have more control over the outcome than you realize.
Start by trying something new. It’s summer, so jump on a SUP Board, go for a solo hike, take drum lessons. Start to beat to your own drummer!!
Take a calculated risk. Do your research. Educate yourself on something new before you jump into the great divide. It will increase your odds of success. Again, you have more control than you know.
Say yes! And then do the work, get your hands dirty, and DO NOT give up too soon. Living boldly is about pushing through the hard stuff because you know you can achieve the goal you seek.
Finally, surround yourself with believers. Toss aside the “what if-ers “ – those who are too afraid to move into greatness. They are holding you back from achieving your greatest potential. Find your supporters, those who will cheer you on every step of the way and pick you up and dust you off when it gets hard.
Call me! I believe in the potential of all humans. You have gifts and talents that are too great to ever be unrealized. Don’t allow your fear of the unknown to keep you living small.
